On March 19, members of the Long Island Wine & Liquor Sales Club (LIWLSC) toured AHRC Nassau’s Brookville campus to see the impact of their long-standing support. As beneficiaries of the Club’s 79th Annual Golf & Tennis Outing, the AHRC Nassau Foundation helps fund meaningful, life-enriching programs for people with developmental disabilities served across AHRC Nassau, Brookville Center, and Citizens Options Unlimited.

During the visit, members—including this year’s honoree, Tim Burns—visited classrooms, sensory rooms, and skill-building spaces like the PAES Lab and Model Apartment. These environments are designed to support personal growth, communication, and independence at every age and stage.

The LIWLSC’s year-round fundraising continues to make real opportunities possible—from community outings to pilot programs that support people with autism and other developmental disabilities.
